I recently bought these from Amazon.
While the overall feel of them seems great, the the brand rectangle looks different that the ones I bought 8 yrs ago.
Did I get shafted with fake ones?
I have a set in my '23, ordered through Amazon, which appear the same as yours. Mine have been great--much better than the 10-year-old Weathertechs I have in another truck. But I endured the strangest customer service experience in order to get them.
When the initial set arrived, the rear and driver-side front mats were fine. Fit was perfect, and the material was more pliable and less slippery than the Weathertechs. But the nibs on bottom of the passenger side front mat had a big problem. Instead of being "pointy"--like those on the other two mats--they were rounded off. So they didn't dig in and engage the carpet, causing the mat to "surf" atop the carpet.
I immediately called Husky customer service. They asked me to email photos of the underside of all three mats, and to describe the problem--which I did. (They didn't want me to return the defective mat.) A couple weeks later, I received a new
set of front mats--even though I'd asked only for the passenger side replacement. When I opened the box, though, both had the same rounded-off nibs!
So I emailed again, sent new photos, again was told to keep the defective set and that a replacement would be on the way. And here's where it got crazy (or crazier): A couple weeks later, I received a
second set of replacement mats--
both of which also had deformed nibs! (At this point, I had one good driver-side mat, a good rear mat, two bad driver-side mats, and three bad passenger-side mats.)
So, I emailed yet again. This time, the rep explained that they had no way to check mats before shipping them from their warehouse--which I had asked them to do. (Nor could they send a single mat---which explained why I had received replacement
sets.) But now they would work around their normal process by sending a set to their engineering department, which would test the mats to see that the nibs were correctly formed. If they checked out, engineering then would forward the passenger-side mat to me.
Weeks went by, and nothing; then a couple months. So I emailed again, and a week later a perfect
set of front mats arrived. So I now have
two good driver-side mats, one good passenger-side mat, one good... (Well, you get the picture.) At any rate, they have performed well.
