What's new

Bilstein 5100s

1/2 inch pucks lifts the truck 1 inch measured at the wheel well. Yes there is a couple threads remaining past the nut after install. It's safe.
Thanks. That is what I will probably start with (if I can find anything in that size). Did you go with something off Ebay (cannot seem to find a 1" spacer anywhere else).
Well here is what I measured with what I have:
2.3” Auto Spring Spacer has a 1.67” puck
2.0” Auto Spring Spacer is 1.49”
0.5” Spacer is 0.4”
I didn’t measure the installed lift those are manufacturer numbers
Based on that the geometry would be the spacer thickness is about 3/4 of the lift it provides (spacers for the 4runner were about half of the lift they provided, same with my '05 Frontier).

I think you guys running the split-level probably have the best compromise (in my mind). You retain more droop than running maxed out adjustable struts and while the spacer allows more severe Cv angles than stock it's not as bad as running a 2-2.5" spacer).

As with everything, I'll roll it around in my head for a while but probably won't do anything until I need tires. Thinking 1" level and 295/70's might be a good place to start. (I've also considered that lifting the front will tilt my WDH back a little which will put more pressure on the bars...should be fairly minor though).

They're a unbranded, solid metal disc with reasonably clean manufacturing. They were on the truck when I got it from the 1st owner. As long as it's not chinesium it should be just fine to go with a ""no name brand"

Chinesium!!! Classic. 🤣🤣

So that's exactly what I did as well with the Eibach 2R setup. The "2 inch lift" on the eibach, really only gets you +1 inch on the Tremor. The "2 inch lift" is as compared to a stock F150.

Ok so +1 net from Eibach set out of the box to their top recommended value.

I didn't like the set. It was still at 39.5F and 42R.

Then I added a solid "1 inch level spacer" which is a 0.5 inch thick piece of metal. It did raise the nose 1 inch at the wheel well.

So now I gained 1 inch from the eibachs, and 1 inch from the puck. For a +2 net gain in the front to sit finally
40.5F / 42R

The control arms are far away from the eibachs, the ball joint is not at a super unnatural binding angle, and the ride is very very close to OEM and not harsh.

I can recommend this setup, and I am VERY picky about ride quality.
Just providing this write up again for a data point for future viewers!!
Looking a doing the same Eibach 2R kit, what 1 inch level spacer did you go with?

No name brand. They were on the truck when I bought it. It's just a solid disc of metal with 3 holes in it. 1/2 thick, gave me 1 inch of rise. With the 2R kit AND the pucks my sit is 40.5F, 42R
