2014 Ruby Ford F150 FX4 V8 5.0 - 4" BDS Lift w/Fox Coil-overs 280,000 miles and going
New to the site, coming over from F150forum.com - VivasFX4

2026 Marsh Gray, F150 Tremor, 5.0L V8 402B - Searched current inventory and couldn't find the exact build I was after, so I put in an order at the local Ford Dealer.

Options added -
Marsh Gray
5.0L V8
402B package
Tow/Haul
Illuminated Ford Logo Badge
Securi-Code Keyless Entry

Super pumped after 12 years to be upgrading. Took advantage of my grandpa's Z-plan pricing, I finally pulled the trigger.

Update 5/16/2026. At the Dealer but closed until Monday

Still driving my 2014 FX4 pushing 277k miles. Best vehicle I've ever owned and she's served me well. Pics for attention....

402B is definitely the package to go for unless you want to go all out. I bought mine back in 2025 before the 2026's hit the lots. If I had known about 402B in advance, I would likely have waited.

Congrats, man - you will love it. These F150s are hard to beat once they get in your blood. My Tremor is my 3rd F150 and 4th Ford Truck. Definitely the best one I've owned.

I've had 6 F-150's and 7 F-Series trucks. I had an F-250 at one point. I also had a 2005 Expedition.

This new truck will be my 2nd F150 but I've had a few Ford vehicles. My first car was a 1987 Aerostar, next came a 92 Mercury Sable, 95 Mustang GT, 97 Taurus SHO, (Non-Ford Years in-between these 2 ) 2010 Taurus SHO, 2014 FX4 and now the Tremor. They were all pretty reliable except my 2010 Taurus SHO, which I blew the turbos on and traded it for the FX4.

YESSSSSS- We have Order Confirmation! (Finally? I placed the order 2 weeks ago and after calling the dealer today about an update, this showed up 10 minutes after my call, coincidence? )

Couple oddities on the Ford website Vehicle details page that shows my specific build.

1. 402B actually has the 14 speaker B&O not the 8 speaker - Potentially? It's listed in the Interior detail

2. Two-Speed Automatic AWD w/ Mechanical locking 4WD.

3. Graphics Delete & Tailgate Applique "Ford" Delete (Not sure what these are??)

Congratulations! I bet you will love it.

Transmission details are correct. That's the Hi-Loc transfer case. It's basically got both the torque on demand clutch system that enables 4WD auto to work and it's mechanically locking when put into 4 high or 4 low. It's the same one that used to be in the Raptor. Also, its the same one that the 402a trucks get.

For some reason, I was under the impression that was only on the 402A. Happy to see it on the 402B build though.

I think this time around, I am going to put a cap on my truck.

What do you all think of this one? Looks great honestly

I have actually come close to some of those Builds, But I started with a 1968 Chevy Impala with a 327, Rochester 4 barrel and slide along through Mercuries ... 77 t/a, 75 chevy with 3 on the tree to a nice 86 K10 granny equipped floor shifter to any Chevys and Fords to a few Rams started in 2012 along with a hand accord and a Honda Civic SI , TO MY CURRENT fORD !)

I typically hate these because most of them look like shit. Most of them don't follow the lines of the body and look massively out of place. That one looks decent, but damn that price.

I actually went ahead and ordered it a couple weeks ago. Should be ready right around the time my Truck build is completed.

Here's a video of the first one installed in Texas and out in the wild.

It may be the best looking cap I've ever seen. That said, even if I wanted one 5 grand or more is a hard pill to swallow.
