Hey All, new to the forum and I'm mostly digging my 2025 Tremor 5.0 402A Picked it up as leftover stock and paired with the employee discount I got 20K off.

That said, I dont love the suspension(too floaty) and I absolutely hate the brake dive. I have been looking at coilover options that dont break the bank. I checked out RC 2.5 Level Kit and Eibach Pro Truck 2/2R (I dont want pucks, Halos, or bilstein).

My goal is more composure, less body roll, and less brake dive. Which one of these will help achieve that?

Note: I will eventually swap to a 35-ish tire so I dont want to limit myself. I like that Eibach comes with front and rear but the lift height is questionable from what I've seen.

We have both Eibach kits in stock that you reference above. We are a RC dealer as well. Let me know what kit you are interested in and I can see if I can get you a deal on it.

Do you have experience with Eibach 2R and the RC Kit?

I'm leaning toward the Eibach Kit but have 2 concerns. 1) will it lessen the brake dive? 2) There have been so many differing posts on the actual lift height achieved. I'm looking for 1.5-2"

As far as the RC Kit, not having any rear shock upgrade I feel I would be in nearly the same boat with brake dive and body roll. Thoughts?

(Note: Also not dissing your Halo Kit, I'm just looking for a stop gap to ensure I want to go further with the truck before do a major suspension overhaul such as Elites or 8112's)

I haven't had much experience with the RC kit, but we can get rear shocks for it. We pair front coilovers and rear shocks together for customers all the time. Neither kit will level your truck out because of the length of the coilovers and the spring rates. Both Eibach and RC uses their normal F-150 suspension that's why it doesn't level out the Tremors because we have a 2 inch rear block from Ford. A non Tremor has a 1.25 rear block so their kits level the trucks out. As far as body roll and everything, both will be a little better than stock. But it won't completely get rid of that unless you do a good front coilover with a strong spring rate.

Then I would save your money and get the better suspension as you mentioned. That's why I always suggest our Tremor Stage 3 kit so then you can set the suspension to exactly what you want. I have the Stage 3 kit on both of my Tremors.

Thanks. It’s not really about saving up the money for it. It’s about not wasting money lol. Much easier to sell a lower priced kit that a higher priced kit. I just want to be sure I’m going to keep the truck, I have a bad habit of switching vehicles often. I’ve had 8 Broncos and they haven’t even been out that many years.

I understand the kits won’t level, I actually want to keep about an 1” or 1.5” in rake.

Sure, dang, I thought I was bad on replacing vehicles! Yeah if you still want that little bit of rake back there then any of the kits you mentioned will for you! Let me know and I would be happy to see if I can get you a deal on it or not.

Holy crap! 8??? Any reason? I know in the beginning they were appreciating in value before the drop off. We were tempted to get rid of ours but I didn't feel like hunting for the replacement.

I like to upfit cars and sell them. I did this quite a bit with Teslas and Broncos but the auto industry has take a hit in terms of value so I dont do it as much anymore. I would drive them for about 6 months while testing out the new parts. Never put more than 8k miles on them lol. Mostly Bronco Raptors, and Wildtraks.

I also just have a problem keeping a car for over a year. Bad problem to have but at least it isn't drugs lol. My current Bronco is on month 11, I got the itch but just bought a Tremor to keep my Bronco company.

I no longer have it but this was my favorite Bronco, I should have kept it.

I really like my Stage 3 kit. Recommend.

I have the Eibach kit on my truck. It improves the ride and composure. I’ve said that this is the way the truck should have come from the factory. It’s really nice compared to the stock suspension. That said, it won’t eliminate the brake dive. IMHO you’d need much heavier springs to do that. My truck has about 1/2”-3/4” of rake still but I have a shell and bed slide. You’d probably wind up with 1.5” of rake on an empty bed.

I have the RC shocks front and rear. It firmed up the suspension and got rid of the floaties. I don't notice the brake dive. However, with the firmer suspension, it now rides like an F-250. It seems that most shock companies just make stiffer components, but I have nothing to compare the RC to except for stock. RC ships a set of blocks for the rear, but I didn't use them. Truck is virtually level now.

I found a set of new Eibach 2R on Facebook marketplace. They were never installed due to the persons truck being in an accident prior to the install date. I'm going to give these a shot since I picked them up for sub 1k which is a steal.

Question for the group: I see folks doing it for 2021-2023 but Is unbolting the LCA for installation still an option on 2025 and 2026? This would be my first install on the F150 platform. I did this in my Bronco but just asking if there are any gotchas in the recent year Tremors.

For a coilover installation, it’s unnecessary. Getting the OEMs off the first time can be done by prying the LCAs down or you can free the axle which provides plenty of room to get them out.

Isn’t prying the LCA down without unbolting the axle or dropping the LCA from the frame just asking for CV issues?

I found in my Bronco unbolting the LCA at the frame lessens the amount of components required to remove to get the stock shocks out. But the of course that’s a different vehicle I’m going from stock to aftermarket coilovers.

I referenced this video for my 2R kit install. Everything was spot on compared to my 2025 Tremor 402A.

I have a lot of these same questions. Without pucks or Bilsteins, what exactly is the best kit to get some of the rake out of these trucks? I am right with OP on this. I don't have as much issue with brake dive but holy moly these trucks have a ton of rake.

I don't even want to eliminate it all. I'd just be happy leaving 1" or so compared to the 3" the truck has now.

Naw you don't need to unbolt the LCAs. Just unclip the brake/ABS/IWE lines, take out the nut at the end of the axle shaft, pop off the sway bar end links and tie rod end. Then unbolt the upper balljoint and the steering knuckle can be pulled down and away. The CV will slide out of the hub. That'll give you plenty of space to replace the shock.

Thanks all. I ended up installing the kit and got 1.5" up front after alignment and about 50 miles of driving, 10 miles on an unpaved road. This leaves me with about 2.25" of rake still lol (was really hoping for 1.5-ish). I'm happy with the ride and it is definitely an OEM+ feel with the Eibach 2R kit.

Now I need to decide what tires will fit. It seems pretty well known that 295/70/18 will fit even stock vehicles but I really wanted to go with 35x11.5 or 285/75/18 but not sure if the lift will support that. I'm on stock wheels for now but will move to a +18 or +25 in the future.

What's everyone with the Eibach kit running? Keep in mind this is on a 25 with the updated skid plate.

35” tires are 1” taller above the center than the oem 33s so you would need 1” lift for the tires. Wheel well liner, skid plate, and crash bars seem to be different for every truck. I have a 1.5” lift and rubbed the liners and the skid plate with 35x11.5r18 AT4Ws. I did zip ties and a new skid plate. Many other options though.

Yeah I was thinking 285/75/18. I took a look at the AT4W in your size but saw that they are 34.9x11.9 and I didn’t think the truck would handle it without aftermarket wheels or a small spacer.

I planned to buy the Toyo At3 in 285/75 which are 34.8x11.3. Do you think you would you rub with .6” less in width?
