FINALLY! Square / Modular bumper tow hook covers

Hi All,

I've been lurking here for a while. Checking out everyone's mods.

I have been wanting orange tow hooks/tow hook covers since day one, and just didn't want to drop $300+ canadian to buy the OEM orange ones.

I have been checking Etsy regularly for a year to see if anyone had come up with the square version covers yet - to no avail - until today!

Both rear and front versions available. The shop owner Daryl was extremely responsive in answering my questions about colours, and as it happens he even bought one of the OEM square hooks to aid in his development.

My front and rears are on the way. I will report back here after I get them.

Nope. As indicated in my chat image with him, flex gold is the closest match

Pretty sure the rears are welded. Don't need to come off to put covers on though...

Can confirm they are welded on the 24s because I couple of days ago I was looking at how bad the welds were

What is the rating on the OEM front and rear tow hooks? (That is something I would like Ford to provide but so far it is well hidden.). The rating is essential for a safe recovery system.

Here's my hook covers installed. They look great and fit snug. Easy to install. Canadian buyers beware: I was levied an absurd duty of around $47 - which I have NO IDEA why given CUSMA I believe should be in effect on this. Nothing to do with the Etsy seller - not his fault.

in the receipt or customs docs, is there detail of which tariff code was applied? I'm interested in ordering but not interested in getting slammed for this.
